To start off I have known Alex Jeffreys for a bit over 7 months now having joined his first coaching program Marketing with Alex 1.0 back in December 2008. At that point I had had enough of buying hyped up products that promised the world but never delivered. After speaking to few high profile marketers over email I asked them what I needed to do to start some money online and most advised me that I needed to stop buying junk products that just collected dust on my desktop and that I needed a mentor or business coach. After realizing that what I needed was a mentor it took me several months trying to find someone that a) had a good reputation and b) suited me.

Eventually I came across Alex and I knew pretty much from the outset that he was the one that I wanted to coach me. It was his passion for helping others and how genuine he is that attracted me to him.

At first I naturally had a few doubts as to how much Alex could actually help me but I was that desperate for help that I was going to pay him $3000 to mentor me. He kindly advised me to save that money and hold on another month until the doors opened for his coaching program. In the meantime he gave me a few reports to read and got me doing a few little things that he thought would help me. I thought to myself wow; this guy doesn’t actually want my money. He genuinely wants to help me.

Now I am going to go over how Alex has helped and include some of the things that you will find in Marketing with Alex 2.0.

To start off with I never actually had a blog of my own before I started the course and after the first day of the program I had my first  blog up and running with a simple free wordpress theme which I downloaded online. This blog is another blog that I started a few weeks later which I have been making money from for over 5 months now.

The most important component of Alex’s coaching for me though was his expertise in list building. If you ever speak to any successful Internet marketer or online entrepreneur, all of them will tell you that building a list of loyal followers is the most important part of their business. I never really placed that much importance on list building until I started with Alex and he showed me how his list of 20 000 people brought him over 20k a month in profits consistently. Today his list is way bigger than that so you can imagine the money he is making from this list.

Now you may be wondering as I did how on earth can I do that. Well this is where Alex’s Profit Pulling Platform comes in. I think the biggest lesson I ever learned from Alex came on a day of one of his live coaching webinars. This webinar was scheduled to begin at midnight his time and he was only getting back from an overseas trip that day. Any ways he was pretty sick and had not had any sleep the night before but instead of cancelling the webinar and setting another date for it he wanted to do it at the set time. Anyways he drank a few red bulls and actually ended up going on for an extra two and a half half hours. The content and feedback during the lesson was incredible but I took more away from the lesson than what was taught. I was inspired by Alex’s dedication and his will to help us succeed at any cost. It made me want to help others more as well as realize the value of going beyond what is expected of you.

During the coaching there were a few areas where Alex felt like he needed to offer his students more so instead of trying to cover everything himself he payed to bring in some leading experts in certain areas. For example we did some training with the queen of video marketing Maria Andros who was unbelievable. Maria’s coaching costs in the thousands of dollars alone so this was extremely valuable addition to the course. We also had a few other internet marketers like Andrew Fox and Michael Cheney help out which was great. This shows that Alex was not prepared to cut any corners and wanted to provide us with the best opportunity for success.

Another great thing about the course was that each and every coaching module came with an action plan and a reward. So after each module there would be a competition related to that topic rewarding a few people that had done the best. The rewards were cash prizes of between $1000 and $2000. This worked really well as it gave people an incentive for taking action. Obviously not every one won the prizes but it was a win-win situation as those that didn’t still took action and put in place the things they needed to so as to improve their business.
